The UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine presents the 2010 Conference on Integrative Medicine.
On February 3, 2010, the UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine (CCIM) hosted a daylong Integrative Medicine Conference: Why Integrative Medicine Matters at the UCLA Faculty Center. The program includes: presentations on Mind-Body Awareness, traditional Chinese medicine, and integrative medicine; experiential workshops to demonstrate therapeutic movements such as meditation, T'ai Chi Chih, Yoga, and acupressure; and exhibits and research poster session.
The UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine is a UCLA system-wide program committed to the study and application of integrative medicine. CCIM sponsors public and professional education, facilitates research and promotes appropriate practice of complementary, alternative, and integrative medicine.
