CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
The Society for Acupuncture Research (SAR), the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) and the Fascia Research Society (FRS) will come together to co-host the one-day Joint Conference on Acupuncture, Oncology and Fascia. They will share the platform at Harvard Medical School, brought together by the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. The Joint Conference will take place during the first day of the SIO Conference (November 14, 2015) at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center, Harvard Medical School.
An opportunity for health care professionals, researchers, students, patient advocates, and patients interested in learning and sharing scientific advances that allow for tailored approaches to cancer care and promote development of an evidence-base for complementary therapies and practices used in integrative oncology.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CMEsolutions and Society for Integrative Oncology, Inc. The CMEsolutions is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The CMEsolutions designates this live course for a maximum of 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity has been submitted to the Onoclogy Nursing Society for approval to award contact hours, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity has been submitted to the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for PDA points.
