The National Student Conference on Integrative Medicine began in 2011 by the UCLA Integrative Medicine Student Interest Group. NSCIM is a conference organized by medical students from across the country, driven by a common goal of reaching beyond the standard medical school curriculum and becoming well-versed in the latest scientific findings and treatment strategies from a wealth of diverse healing traditions.

It is a two day hands-on learning experience in the modalities, research and clinical practice of integrative medicine.  Learning is facilitated by national leaders and role models in the field.  This year, the second annual conference will be held at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.
