This year, on Friday, October 30, 2015, UCLA Center for East-West Medicine will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month through hosting a panel discussion on "Person-Centered Breast Cancer Patient Care."
Objective: To discuss the unmet needs of breast cancer patients through all phases of treatment from diagnosis to palliative care, and how a person-centered approach can help. Both conventional Western treatment options and an integrative East-West approach will be discussed.
Audience: Breast cancer patients and survivors, clinicians, researchers, and other major stakeholders in the breast cancer community. Students, community members, and anyone else interested in the topic are welcome.
