An author and also a former Buddhist Nun, Winston teaches how mindfulness can elevate mood and prevent age-related decline of mental capacity. Winston cites several studies and facts in an interesting and informative presentation in Santa Monica. According to Winston, mindfulness is “paying attention to present moment experiences with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is.”
