UCSD Natural Healing and Cooking Program

June 3, 2012 – July 23, 2012

This summer, UC San Diego’s Center for Integrative Medicine presents an 8-week course series in nutrition mindfulness. Meeting once a week on either Sundays or Mondays, the course aims to bring a better understanding of the effects that our  food choices have on our health and wellbeing. Not only will you learn to eat smarter and healthier to protect your body from some of the world’s most ailing chronic conditions like diabetes and cancer, you will also learn how to properly pair plant-based whole-foods and to best bring out each dish’s natural flavors. At each class, enrollees will enjoy a multi-course meal and other tasting, and will be exposed to literally hundreds of easy-to-prepare healthy recipes. Beginning in June, this series is fast approaching, so be sure to act quickly and register now!
