The Division of Nursing, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine at Boston Medical Center, is pleased to present Integrative Nursing: The Art of Healing Transforming Your Personal and Professional Landscapes, a one-day holistic nursing conference, focusing on principles of integrative medicine. This course is designed for nurses interested in integrative medicine/nursing. The focus is on exploration of self-care and how it leads to better patient care. Healing modalities central to the art of integrative medicine will be taught workshop-style by leaders in the field of holistic nursing.

Target Audience

RNs, APNs, RNs in specialty areas, LPNs

Educational Needs Addressed

The purpose of this conference is to provide nurses with an overview of specific integrative therapies and how the therapies can be incorporated into nursing practice and self-care.

Educational Objectives 
At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:
• Describe integrative therapies and how they can be incorporated into nursing practice
• Identify at least two methods of integrative therapies which support self-care
