“Demystifying Chinese Herbal Medicine” with Dr. Lawrence Lau of Yo San University

On Thursday, May 22, 2014, Students for Integrative Medicine (SIM) at UCLA will be hosting Dr. Lawrence Lau of Yo San University to present "Demystifying Chinese Herbal Medicine" at Ackerman 2408 (Ackerman Union) on the UCLA campus from 7-8 PM.

On Thursday, May 22, 2014, Students for Integrative Medicine (SIM) at UCLA will host Dr. Lawrence Lau, Dean of Academic & Clinical Affairs at Yo San University, to present “Demystifying Chinese Herbal Medicine: An Introductory Overview and Clinical Applications” from 7-8 PM at Ackerman 2408 (Ackerman Union) on the UCLA campus. This event will serve as a second opportunity for those who did not have a chance to attend Dr. Lau’s workshop at the Annual Student Conference for Integrative Medicine (ASCIM) on May 1st, 2014.

Lawrence Lau, MD, MSOM, LAc is the Dean of Academic & Clinical Affairs at Yo San University, a fully accredited institution in Los Angeles offering Master’s and Doctoral degree courses in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Dr. Lau also teaches courses in Integrative Clinical Studies and TCM Health Cultivation in the doctoral program at the University. Dual trained in allopathic western medicine as well as traditional Chinese medicine, Dr. Lau has over 25 years’ experience in integrating TCM and conventional western medical care, and maintains a private acupuncture practice at Yo San University, specializing in TCM Internal Medicine, TCM Oncology and Wellness & Health Cultivation.
