• IOM Webinar/Workshop on Transdisciplinary Professionalism

  On May 14-15, 2013, UMichigan's Mary Jo Kreitzer and ACCAHC's Liza Goldblatt will be presenting at the IOM Workshop, Establishing Transdisciplinary Professionalism for Health Care in Washington, DC.
  
• Train the Trainer Institute for Inter-professional Faculty Development
  October 11, 2013 – October 13, 2013
  The University of Michigan will be hosting the Train the Trainer Institute for Inter-professional Faculty Development for Category 1 CME credit on two alternate dates: October 8-11, 2013, and November 12-15, 2013.
  
• International Research Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health 2014
  May 13, 2014 – May 16, 2014
  On May 13-16, 2014, the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine (CAHCIM) and the International Society for Complementary Medicine Research (ISCMR) will host the fourth International Research Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health (IRCIMH) will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida, USA.
  
• The Mayo Clinic Complementary and Integrative Medicine
  July 11, 2013 – July 13, 2013
  From July 11-13, 2013, the Mayo School of Continuous Professional Development will be offering the course, "Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Where Rubber Meets the Road."
  
• The Science of Placebo
  June 19, 2013 – June 20, 2013
  On June 19-20, 2013, the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center will host "The Science of Placebo" at the Sherman Auditorium. Featured speakers include Fabrizio Benedetti, Tor Wager, Predgrag Petrov, and Ted Kaptchuk.
  
• AMSA Leadership & Education Program for Students in Integrative Medicine (LEAPS)
  June 16, 2013 – June 21, 2013
  The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Foundation is seeking medical students with a strong interest in integrative medicine (IM) combined with the desire for leadership roles in IM to participate in the Leadership and Education Program for Students in Integrative Medicine (LEAPS into IM). The program will focus on Integrative Medicine education, leadership skills, and developing IM projects to implement at their own home schools. Once accepted into the program, students are eligible to apply for a $250 grant to fund their projects. Applications are now open.
  
• Holistic Health & Healing Summer Institute
  June 10, 2013 – June 14, 2013
  The University of Minnesota will be offering a summer program on holistic health and healing from June 10-14, 2013. The event features on-site learning and experts from UMN's Center for Spirituality & Healing and School of Nursing.
  
• Third Annual Integrative Nursing: The Art of Healing
  April 30, 2013
  On April 30, 2013, the Boston University School of Medicine will offer CME credit for the one-day holistic nursing conference, "Third Annual Integrative Nursing: The Art of Healing." The conference will take place at the Hiebert Lounge at Boston University SOM.
  
• Ayurvedic Clinical Assessment Program 2013
  April 21, 2013 – April 22, 2013
  University of Connecticut School of Medicine will offer CME credit for the Ayurvedic Clinical Assessment Program 2013, which will take place from Thursday, April 21 to Friday, April 22, 2013 at the UConn Health Center.
