Nurse Practitioner, Suzie Lee demonstrates various essential acupressure points to promote self-healing and self-care.
The role of acupressure has been paramount in traditional Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years. Acupressure is a method of sending a signal to the body to “turn on” its own self-healing or regulatory mechanisms. Acupressure helps to correct functional imbalances and restore the flow thus returning the body to a more natural state of well-being.
Suzie Lee, R.N.P., L.Ac., completed her master’s degree in the nurse practitioner primary care program at UCLA , and joined the Center for East-West Medicine as its Nurse Practitioner Fellow in July 2009. She is a licensed acupuncturist.
